Utah Free Media has returned with live programming

After a 4 month hiatus, UtahFM.org returned to live programming on the 6th of Feb, from our new studio in South Salt Lake. 

For the last few months, we have been streaming from a server hosted at XMission. On the night of Monday the 6th of Feb, we finished most of the important work on our new studio, switch the feed from the server at XMission, and host a comeback show featuring several UtahFM hosts.

We are definitely happy to be back, but there will be a few bumps in the road ahead. Mostly due to the need for a couple of new studio computers, and a mostly empty schedule. We don't blame the hosts who have decided to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks before comitting to the station again, especially after the fallout that caused many problems toward the end of the last studio closure. Any UtahFM hosts who would like to get back on the air are asked to contact management@utahfm.org. 

In the mean time, we are looking to fill that empty space with at some programming. If you are interested in becoming a substitute host, or if you are intersted in hosting a show of your own at UtahFM.org, we are currently accepting volunteer applications.
